Similar to the transition team’s Citizen’s Briefing Book the new administration is asking for input via it’s Office of Public Liaison webpage. Another change:
One significant addition to WhiteHouse.gov reflects a campaign promise from the President: we will publish all non-emergency legislation to the website for five days, and allow the public to review and comment before the President signs it.
Explore the new website’s briefing room to stay up-to-date with the work of the administration or catch President Obama’s weekly video address, and use the Our Government pages as a quick review of the various branches and offices and their responsibilities.
The website may have changed, but that doesn’t mean that we’ve lost access to the older incarnations of whitehouse.gov, or any of the government’s main websites. Thanks to the End-of-Term Presidential Harvest project, all important websites were collected and will be maintained at the (wonderful, miraculous, and oh-so-frabjous) Internet Archive.
Enjoy!
